People are laughing and having a good time making fun of all of the people who were concerned about December 21, 2012, and the end of the Mayan calendar, but they might not be laughing for long! You see, these arrogant bastards can’t fathom the fact that slow and gradual evolution isn’t how we actually arrived where we are today as a species and a planet. They deny that there have been cycles of destruction and that there have been many civilizations that have risen and fallen over millions of years. They only believe that we’ve been here for a few hundred thousand years at the most and that civilization began sometime around 4,000 BCE.
