As if we haven’t had enough volcanic activity in the last week, it now appears that the government in Nicaragua is stepping up its preparations for an imminent eruption of the San Cristobal volcano. According to an article in The Star Online, on Saturday September 15, the authorities installed 43 new radio communications systems in case an eruption were to occur. This was largely done in response to the volcano’s second signs of activity in the past week. The above video is the first instance of this.
